If you’re looking for a peaceful camping experience, then look no further than Brick Kiln Camping. Located on the outskirts of the village of Campsea Ashe in the unspoilt, quiet Suffolk countryside, this campsite offers a serene retreat for adults only (18+).

At Brick Kiln Camping, the focus is on relaxation, tranquility, and connecting with nature. The quiet policy means that music is not allowed on site, and campers are expected to respect each other’s need for a peaceful environment.

While small group bookings are welcome, the site actively discourages groups who wish to stay up late at night, in order to ensure that all guests can enjoy a good night’s rest. The aim is to make guests feel at home and comfortable, with a warm and friendly welcome awaiting upon arrival.

The one-acre grass, hedged campsite is suitable for tents, VWs, camper vans, caravans, and motor-homes. However, it is important to note that there is no electrical hookup available. The Orchard section of the site offers limited pitches, each with its own firepit. Wood can be purchased on site, with a barbecue available for use. Wi-fi is also available, although not always guaranteed everywhere on site.

Dogs are welcome on the site with a maximum of two per pitch, as long as they are well-behaved and kept on a lead at all times. The converted stable block offers a washing up area, and there is also a fridge/freezer that guests are welcome to use. A covered area is also available for comfortable seating and playing games.

The village pub, The Duck, is just a walk across the fields, and offers good food and drink options. The Station House is ideal for breakfast, morning coffee, and afternoon tea with homemade cakes. The Village Shop, also located just a short walk away, is well-stocked with long opening hours.

Although Brick Kiln Camping may be off the beaten track, it is within easy reach of the A12, offering access to famous Suffolk places such as Woodbridge, Framlingham, Snape, Aldeburgh, and Southwold. Other notable sights in the area include the Minsmere Bird Reserve and Sutton Hoo.

Brick Kiln Farm, owned by Tina, has been a family home for 30 years. With its remote location and peaceful setting, Brick Kiln Camping offers a unique camping experience for adults who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
